Do I need experience in growing plants or vegetables?
No, you don’t need any experience in gardening to be successful in growing with the Airgarden. In fact, the Airgarden makes it easy for anyone to grow your own herbs, greens and vegetables anywhere, anytime, as the unit does it all for you! You’ll be surprised how easy it is!
Are the nutrient solutions organic?
Although it is 100% natural, minerals cannot be classified as “organic” from a chemistry perspective. Only the purest earth minerals are used in our nutrient solution allowing us to deliver all necessary and essential nutrients straight to the plant roots. This results in healthier plant growth and a superior crop yield, contrary to fertilisers used in conventional farming and gardening featuring ammoniacal nitrogen.
Can I use the Airgarden indoors?
Yes you can! Choose a spot where the Airgarden will get 4 hours per day of direct sunlight for herbs and leafy greens or 6 hours per day of direct sunlight for fruiting plants.

Do I need to plug the Airgarden into mains power?
Yes. The Airgarden requires a power source to run both the pump and pump timer. That's what allows your produce to grow 3x faster! And, if you need to run a cord outdoors simply pick up a
weatherproof multi-board like this one or a
weatherproof electrical enclosure like this one.
You might be wondering, how much power does that use?
The Airgarden is extremely sustainable and uses approximately 11 cents / 480W / 0.48KW worth of electricity per day, or $45 per year. To put this into context – the Airgarden uses 75% less electricity than the average fridge, which uses 45 cents of electricity per day, or $164 per year.

Can I move it around my house/garden?
Yes, the Airgarden has built in wheels and can easily be moved around your home even with water in it. The wheels make the Airgarden completely portable, and the wheels have brake locks so it stays in place!
How often do I need to harvest or prune the plants/vegetables?
This will vary depending on what you are growing. For example, lettuce will need to be harvested every two weeks.
