Airgarden's aeroponic system provides a simple, cost-effective, sustainable solution for growing your own food.

Designed to make growing accessible for everyone – it's better for your health, and better for the planet.

Wondering how it works?
It’s not magic (but it’s close!)

The technology

Self-watering and fertilising

Aside from a few minor gardening tasks, the Airgarden will take care of itself. A timer ensures the ideal levels of oxygen, water and nutrients are delivered to plants at the perfect time.

Soilless coco-coir medium

Instead of soil, Airgarden plants grow in a coconut husk bi-product called coco-coir, which provides roots with oxygen and consistent moisture, encouraging rapid, healthy growth.

Circular water system

A low-wattage pump pushes the nutrient solution to the top of the Airgarden through a small central pipe, which then evenly drips down over the exposed plant roots.

Mineral nutrient solution

Our proprietary plant food is made from 100% natural earth minerals, giving plants a “shortcut” to the nutrients they need, resulting in greater nutrient uptake and superior growth.

Growing guide

The first step to growing in your Airgarden is strong, healthy seedlings (i.e. a young plant raised from seed). You have two options:

Grow your own. Grow seedlings using the coco-coir grow plugs and propagation kit we provide with every Airgarden. This takes around 3 weeks.

Ready-to-plant seedlings. Order one of our seasonal seedling bundles – grown by us and delivered to your door in 3 weeks, ready to plant in your Airgarden.

Setting up your Airgarden is easy:

Step 1: connect the pump and irrigation pipe inside the base reservoir

Step 2: stack the growing levels

Step 3: fasten the irrigation shower and lid on the top of the unit

Step 4: set your timer, plug it in and connect your pump

Step 5: fill the base reservoir with water and nutrients

Step 6: when they're ready, put your seedlings in!

Successfully growing in your Airgarden takes just 5 minutes per week, with the following gardening tasks:

Step 1: Check water levels twice per week and add water when the base is half empty

Step 2: Test PH levels and adjust as required

Step 3: Add nutrients every second time you add water

Step 4: Check for pests and monitor leaf health

Step 5: Prune, harvest and trim roots as required

Step 6: Clean your Airgarden every 3 months

The two methods we use to harvest are: ‘whole plant’ and ‘cut and come again’.

Whole plant harvesting is when you completely remove a plant from the Airgarden, in which case it will not grow back.

With cut and come again harvesting, you remove a few parts of a plant and leave the rest in the Airgarden to continue growing.
