How to clean your Airgarden pump

The pump is the heart of your Airgarden system, as it works to distribute the water and liquid nutrient solution from the base reservoir, to the top of the Airgarden, and then down the centre to feed your plants' roots.

We recommend that you clean your Airgarden pump, along with a full clean of your Airgarden, at least every 3 months to ensure its ongoing smooth operation and longevity. The process is simple and takes only two minutes to complete, and doesn't require you taking apart your Airgarden to do. Steps to clean your Airgarden pump:

1. Turn your Airgarden off at the power source
2. Reach into your reservoir through the top access port and unplug your pump from the hose connector
3. Remove the pump from the Airgarden through the reservoir top access port
4. Take your pump apart as per the below video 
5. Clean all parts thoroughly with a hose and water
6. Put your pump back together, place it back in your Airgarden and re-connect the hose connector
