Super Mint Green Smoothie
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups (625ml) So Good Almond Long Life Milk, chilled
1/2 ripe avocado, chopped
1 banana, frozen
4 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
1 cup baby spinach leaves
2 teaspoons honey
Method
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and combined. Pour into glasses and serve.
The New Green Smoothie
Ingredients
1 ripe avocado, stoned, peeled, coarsely chopped
60g Baby Spinach
1 Lebanese cucumber, coarsely chopped
1 Granny Smith apple, cored, coarsely chopped
2 cups (500ml) chilled coconut water
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh ginger
1 lime, zested, peeled, coarsely chopped
1 cup crushed ice
1 teaspoon pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
1/2 teaspoon Coles Black Chia seeds
Method
Place the avocado, spinach, cucumber, apple, coconut water, ginger, lime and ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the avocado mixture evenly among serving glasses. Sprinkle evenly with the lime zest, pepitas and chia seeds. Serve immediately.
Kale, Lime and Coconut Water Green Smoothie
Ingredients
1 lime, peeled, coarsely chopped
1 Granny smith apple, peeled, coarsely chopped
1 Lebanese cucumber, coarsely chopped
1/2 bunch kale, stem trimmed, coarsely chopped
40g baby spinach leaves
1 tsp finely grated ginger
400ml coconut water
Method
Place lime, apple, cucumber, kale, spinach, ginger and coconut water in a blender and blend until smooth. Divide among serving glasses, serve immediately.
Green Veggie Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup spinach, trimmed, chopped, tightly packed
1 cup chopped kale, trimmed, chopped, tightly packed
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 green apple, cored, chopped
1 pear, cored, chopped
2 large bananas, frozen and roughly chopped
2 cups filtered water
Fresh mint to serve
Method
Place all ingredients in a blender on high speed and blend until smooth. Divide into 2 tall glasses. Top with fresh mint to serve.
Tropical Kale Smoothie
Ingredients
100g frozen mango
30g trimmed kale
1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 teaspoons nut butter
250ml (1 cup) coconut water
Pulp of 1 passionfruit
Method
Combine mango, kale, mint, chia seeds, nut butter, coconut water and half the passionfruit pulp in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth, thick and creamy. Serve topped with remaining passionfruit pulp.
