In aeroponics, the level of "pH" in your reservoir is an extremely important factor, and your pH levels need to be tested and balanced every time you add water to your Airgarden.
A PH kit is included with your Airgarden. Only buy this as a replacement.
In aeroponics, the level of "pH" in your reservoir is an extremely important factor. When it is too high or too low, plants can become sick or die, you should therefore test the PH levels at least once per week.
Ideally, the pH level in your Airgarden should be 6.3, however maintaining the range of 6.0 to 6.5 is acceptable.
HY-GEN® COMPLETE pH KIT is an easy and accurate way to keep track of the pH levels in your Airgarden. The kit gives you everything you need to test the levels, as well as adjust your pH using the pH UP and pH DOWN solutions provided.
Adjusting the pH is quite easy and after some time and experience it becomes an art as you start to learn more about your plants and growing system.
The concentrated indicator solution allows you to obtain a reading by using just one drop in the test tube provided. The calibrated colour chart provided helps test your pH to within 0.5 of a pH unit. Testing and adjusting your nutrient solution regularly will ensure your plants are healthy and happy.
